VDOT Layoffs Affect About 50 Employees Here in Northern Virginia
According to a story in the Washington Business Journal, the Virginia Department of Transportation is notifying 600 employees this week they are losing their jobs, that according to the Associated Press. The cuts are being made in Richmond and at VDOT’s nine districts. About 50 VDOT employees in Northern Virginia are being let go, the Associated Press reports.
