Toll Road News Reports Virginia Official "Impatient" for State Toll Projects

In a telephone interview yesterday with Toll Road News, Virginia Secretary of Transportation Sean T. Connaughton said he's "impatient to move major road improvement projects forward and that toll revenues will be essential to this."

The biggest news from the conversation says the article, "backed by documents faxed to Toll Road News by VDOT, is that the I-95 toll proposals are not limited to the border with North Carolina. While the N.C. border would be the first toll point, Virginia wants a federal ruling that would allow other toll points along I-95 as well as the border toll."
