Tysons Express Bus Service Coming June 21

WTOP Radio reported today on the new Tysons Express bus service, which is billed as a faster alternative to driving.
"Virginia Department of Transportation is starting new bus service June 21 to help commuters get to Tysons from Loudoun County. According to VDOT, the 45-minute ride on Tysons Express is faster than driving. The service provides seven morning and seven evening trips per day.

"Tysons Express also offers a Friday "Early Out" mid-day departure to allow riders to get an early start on their weekend through the summer.

"The bus costs $3 with a SmarTrip card or $3.50 cash for a one-way ride. Each bus also offers free Wi-Fi."
Loudoun County Tysons Express bus service is on schedule to begin service on Monday, June 21. The buses will operate on two different routes. (see the Tysons Express bus schedule - PDF)
