Update on May 12 Hit and Run in Ashburn

Vehicle Possibly a Chevrolet Cobalt, Dark in Color, and Has Passenger Side Front-End and Undercarriage Damage
   
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office believes the vehicle involved in the hit and run of a pedestrian May 12 in Ashburn was a Chevrolet Cobalt that is dark in color. 
   
Around 7:20 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, a 55-year-old female was attempting to cross Gloucester Parkway at Ashby Ponds Boulevard when she was struck by a small, dark in color, four-door passenger car. The car is further described as having a rear spoiler and alloy rims. The vehicle likely has damage to the front-end passenger side and the undercarriage. The driver was described as a male.   
   
The victim was airlifted to INOVA Fairfax Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
