Dr. Gridlock of the
Washington Post reported yesterday that a "meeting to gather the stakeholders involved in paying for the
second phase of Metro’s Silver Line has been pushed back by a week
because some officials are out of town."
Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood
had called last week for those involved in the project — Loudoun and
Fairfax counties, Metro, Virginia, and the Metropolitan Washington
Airports Authority — to hold a meeting to figure out how to keep the
project on track.
The Post reports that the meeting is now likely to occur on May 2.
