Officials from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will provide an update on the Route 50 widening project during a "Pardon Our Dust" meeting at 6 p.m., this Thursday, June 28, at the Dulles South Public Safety Center, 25216 Loudoun County Parkway in South Riding.
VDOT will provide an update on construction plans for the project and residents will have the opportunity to ask questions as well as express their concerns with the project.
The Route 50 widening project aims to relieve current and anticipated congestion to provide pedestrian and cyclist accommodations, and to improve safety along the corridor. The road will also be more level and provide wider buffers between travel lanes and roadside hazards.
Good thing is awaiting in future
