Silver Line Approval - Media Coverage

Metro's Silver Line is coming to Loudoun County. After months of back and forth among members of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, a 5-4 vote Tuesday morning cemented their support for the second phase of the Dulles Rail project, as reported by WMAL Radio.

The approved plan will bring Metro service to Dulles International Airport, with stops in Tysons Corner, two stops in Loudoun and a stop in Reston. Without the county's commitment of $270 million, the most anticipated stretch of the Silver Line would have been in jeopardy.

Listen to the WMAL report.
