This Week, March 4-8, is National Telework Week

A recent report from the Texas Transportation Institute found that commuters waste more than five billion hours in traffic congestion every year. Teleworking can increase not only productivity and work output, but also office morale.

The third annual Telework Week encourages government agencies, businesses, and individuals across the globe to pledge to telework from March 4-8.

This event also supports Gov. Bob McDonnell’s Government Reform and Restructuring Commission’s recommendations that state government support telework to increase employee productivity and engagement, and to reduce traffic and wear and tear on public transportation.
