The Loudoun Times reports that a Leesburg man has been arrested after nearly striking a Loudoun County deputy with his car and then leading authorities on a chase through the South Riding area.
The paper reports that Tehal S. Pandher, 26, was charged with DWI (second in five years), simple assault on law enforcement, speeding to elude and driving on a restricted license. At the time of the Time's report, Pandher was being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
The incident began about 11:23 p.m. at the intersection of Whippoorwill and Bald Eagle terraces where a deputy attempted to stop Pandler's vehicle.
