Chairman York Elected Chairman of Dulles Corridor Advisory Committee

Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Chairman Scott K. York has been elected Chairman of the Dulles Corridor Advisory Committee (DCAC) for 2014 and 2015.  The DCAC is an eight-member committee that advises the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority on issues related to the management, improvement and expansion of the Dulles Corridor, as well as future changes to rates on the Dulles Toll Road to fund roadway improvements and the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project. 
 
The DCAC is composed of two representatives each from Loudoun County, Fairfax County, the Airports Authority and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Loudoun County is represented by Chairman York and County Administrator Tim Hemstreet.
 
York represents Loudoun County on other regional organizations as well, including as Chairman of the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board for 2013. He also serves on the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, the Northern Virginia Regional Commission, the Route 28 Transportation Improvement District Commission, the Virginia Association of Counties and the Virginia High-Growth Coalition.
