The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is advising residents of several events this weekend that may cause traffic delays in various areas of the county.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday residents can expect increased traffic in the area of the Dulles Town Center due to an event. The event will be held from 4 - 10 p.m. on Friday and 1 - 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, a 5k race will be held in the area of Creighton Road and Minerva Drive from 7:30 - 10:30 a.m. Also, motorists may see increased traffic for an event on Saturday in the area of One Loudoun from 1:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Motorists traveling on Dry Mill Road on Saturday should expect increased traffic and possibly delays in the area of the Loudoun County Fairgrounds for an event held from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday evening there will be a 5k race held in the area of Ashburn Village Boulevard and Russell Branch Parkway. The event will be held from 5 - 8 p.m.
Motorists are asked to please be patient, drive safely and follow all law-enforcement direction.
