Sheriff's Office Seeks Public's Assistance to Locate Suspect After Stolen Truck Involved in Hit and Run

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance to help locate a suspect who was driving a stolen truck that was involved in a hit and run crash in the Town of Leesburg.

The vehicle, a 2005 Freightliner, was reported stolen on May 6 from the area of Route 50 near Fleetwood Road. This afternoon, the truck, driven by White male in his late 40’s to late 50’s, was involved in a hit and run crash in the area of Fort Evans Road and the Route 7/Route 15 Bypass.

The truck is further described as being white with a yellow top and black bottom. The vehicle has a Virginia license plate of RA 40159.

Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of the vehicle or the possible identity of the driver is asked to immediately call the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-1021.
