Loudoun County Launches New Online Interactive Map for Route 28 Corridor

Loudoun County’s new Route 28 Optional Overlay Zoning Districts have been mapped. Property owners within the Route 28 Corridor now have an additional development option for their property.

An online interactive map has been created to assist in identifying a property’s applicable Route 28 Optional Overlay District. The interactive map at www.loudoun.gov/route28 allows users of the Loudoun County website to identify a property’s applicable Optional Overlay District. Users can find a property’s applicable district by zooming to the property’s location and then clicking on the respective parcel.

A window will display the parcel identification number and the respective Optional Overlay District. The Legend also identifies the Route 28 Optional Overlay Districts by color.

More information on the Route 28 Optional Overlay zoning districts, including a link to the Route 28 Zoning Regulations, is available online at www.loudoun.gov/route28.
