The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is advising residents of two weekend events that may cause traffic delays in various areas of the county.

Prayer services held at the Congregation Sha'are Shalom today, Friday, Oct. 3, and Saturday may cause some delays on Evergreen Mills Road in the area of Heritage High School in Leesburg. Motorists should be aware of increased traffic and pedestrian traffic from 6-11:30 p.m. this evening and again from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

And an event held today, Saturday and Sunday will cause delays in the Waterford area. The roads impacted include Factory Street, Second Street, Janney Street, Water Street, High Street, and Loyalty Road. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
