Upcoming Traffic Shift on Ft. Evans Road & Riverside Parkway Project

Loudoun County officials announce an upcoming traffic pattern change within the Fort Evans Phase II and Riverside Parkway project limits
The shifting for the east and west bound lanes will take place during the first week of December on Ft. Evans Road, beginning from east of Menlow Drive through the River Creek Parkway intersection into Riverside Parkway to east of Upper Meadow Drive / Kingsport Drive intersection on Riverside Parkway.

The work will consist of shifting eastbound and westbound lanes onto the right-most lanes on both sides in order to perform work in the median. This shift will commence Phase III of construction. Message boards will be installed and traffic routing will be adjusted to accommodate the traffic shift.

The exact date will be announced through the message boards closer to the traffic shift date.
All commuters are advised to pay attention to traffic signs, message boards and flaggers.

Questions about the project may be directed to the Loudoun County Construction Manager, Vikram Dogra of the Department of Transportation & Capital Infrastructure at Vikram.Dogra@loudoun.gov or 703-737-8532.
