Local commuters have until June 25 to sign up for the Loudoun County Rideshare Rewards program and get paid for carpooling to work. To be eligible for the Rideshare Rewards, participants must:
- Live or work in Loudoun County.
- Drive or ride in a carpool to work.
- Record their carpool trips.
Rideshare Rewards are cash rewards valued from $25 to $100 provided on a gift card. The value of the reward is based on carpool trips logged at NuRide.com before June 30, 2015. Participants must take at least six, one-way carpool trips to earn the minimum $25 gift card.
The Rideshare Rewards program is a partnership between Loudoun County Commuter Services and NuRide. The funding for this program is through a grant provided by the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation.
