Paving and Lane Closures for Russell Branch Parkway Project

Loudoun County officials announce final paving and striping work associated with the construction of the Russell Branch Parkway project from Ashburn Road to Ashburn Village Boulevard. 
 
Final paving and striping will be conducted weekdays beginning today, Monday, June 20, through Thursday, June 30, weather permitting. The work will occur during daytime hours at the two project intersections: Ashburn Village Boulevard and Russell Branch Parkway and Ashburn Road and Russell Branch Parkway. 
 
The scheduled work will involve varying lane closures at both intersections. Lane closures will occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday only. 
 
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office will provide direction at the signalized intersection at Ashburn Village Boulevard and Russell Branch Parkway. Lane closures and flagging operations will be in place at both intersections for the final paving and striping work activities. Daytime construction work in the area of Russell Branch Parkway will also continue.
 
Motorists are advised to watch for signage, lane closures and police direction.
