Possible Traffic Delays During Weekend Events

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is advising residents of weekend/holiday events that may cause traffic delays in various areas of the county. 
 
The events listed below only include activities where traffic control is being conducted by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and where traffic may be impacted.
 
Friday, July 1
  • An event will be held from 5-6 p.m. in the South Riding area. Roads that may be impacted include Golf View Drive, Upper Clubhouse Drive, Maple Cross Street, Lighthouse Place and Center Street.
 
Saturday, July 2
  • An event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and then from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Leesburg/Ashburn area. The road that may be impacted is Evergreen Mill Road east of Rt. 659.
  • An event will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Hillsboro area. The roads that may be impacted are Rt. 9, Hillsboro Road and Mountain Road.
  • An event will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. in the Hillsboro area. The roads that may be impacted are Rt. 9, Hillsboro Road and Mountain Road.
  • An event will be held from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the Lansdowne area. The roads that may be impacted are Woodridge Parkway and Lansdowne Blvd.
  • An event will be held from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the Lucketts area. The road that will be impacted is Lost Corner Road.
 
Sunday, July 3
  • An event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and then from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Leesburg/Ashburn area. The road that may be impacted is Evergreen Mill Road east of Rt. 659.
  • An event will be held from 5 p.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Lovettsville area. The roads that may be impacted are Milltown Road, East Broad Way and South Loudoun Street.
  • An event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Arcola area. The roads that will be impacted are Evergreen Mills Road at Founders Drive.
 
Monday, July 4
  • An event will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Leesburg area. The roads that will be impacted are King Street and all cross streets.
  • An event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Purcellville area. The roads that will be impacted are East Main Street and all cross streets.
  • An event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Purcellville area. The road that will be impacted is Lincoln Road.
  • An event will be held from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the Purcellville area. The road that will be impacted is Business Rt. 7.
 
Tuesday, July 5
  • An event will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. in the Ashburn area. The roads that will be impacted are Ashburn Village Blvd. between Bruceton Mills Circle and Cheltenham Circle and all cross streets.
 
Motorists are asked to please be patient, drive safely, follow all law-enforcement direction and have a safe holiday weekend.
