Possible Traffic Delays For Weekend Events

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is advising residents of weekend events that may cause traffic delays in various areas of the county.  The events listed below only include activities where traffic control is being conducted by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and where traffic may be impacted.

Friday, June 30
An event will be held from 5-6 p.m. in the South Riding area. The roads impacted include: Center Street, Upper Clubhouse Drive, Lighthouse Place, Maple Cross Street and Chilmark Drive.

Saturday, July 1
•An event will be held from 8-11 a.m. in the Hillsboro area. Roads impacted include:
*  Rt. 9/Charles Town Pike (closed between Rt. 287/Berlin Turnpike & Rt. 671/Harpers Ferry Road)
*  Rt. 690/Mountain Road & Hillsboro Road
*  Rt. 719/Cider Mill Road
*  Gaver Mill Road (closed between Hillsboro Road & Rt. 9/Charles Town Pike)
•An event will be held from 5-11 p.m. in the Lucketts area. The roads that may be impacted is Lost Corner Road.
•An event will be held from 7:30-10:30 p.m. in the Hillsboro area. Roads impacted include Charles Town Pike (Rt. 9) and Hillsboro Road (Rt. 690) and Mountain Road.

Sunday, July 2
•An event will be held from 3-11 p.m. in the Lansdowne area.  Roads that may be impacted are Woodridge Parkway and Deerfield Avenue.

Monday, July 3
•An event will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. in the Lovettsville area. Roads impacted include Milltown Road, Lovettsville Road, East Broad Way and South Loudoun Street.

Tuesday, July 4
•An event will be held from 9-11 a.m. in the Leesburg area. Road impacted is King Street from Battlefield Pkwy to Catoctin Circle.
•An event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Purcellville area. Road impacted is Main Street from Nursery Avenue to Maple Avenue.
•An event will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. in the Lincoln area. Road impacted is Lincoln Road from Lincoln Elementary to Goose Creek Friends Meeting House.
•An event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Waterford area. Roads impacted include Second Street, Factory Street and Main Street.
•An event will be held from 7-11 p.m. in the Purcellville area. Road impacted is East Loudoun Street (Business Rt. 7).

Wednesday, July 5
•An event will be held from 7:30-10:30 p.m. in the Ashburn area. Roads impacted include Ashburn Village Blvd (and all feeder streets) between Gloucester Parkway and Farmwell Road.

Motorists are asked to please be patient, drive safely, follow all law-enforcement direction and have a safe holiday weekend.
