Lane Closures and Detours Tonight, Tuesday, July 11

Nighttime construction activities will take tonight, Tuesday, July 11, causing lane closures and detours on the Dulles International Airport Access Highway, Dulles Toll Road, Dulles Greenway, and surrounding roads. All work is weather permitting.

Drivers are asked to use caution, remain attentive to all signage, barricades and speed limits, and obey all police and flagger instructions.

Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) East
When:   Tuesday, July 11, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What:    Full closure
Where:  From Saarinen Circle to mile marker 0.3 (near the Rudder Road overpass).  Follow detour.
Why:     Aerial guideway construction
 
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) West
When:   Tuesday, July 11, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What:    Full closure
Where:  From mile marker 1.6 to 1.1 Saarinen Circle (from 9/10 mile past the Centreville Road overpass to 1/10 mile past the Route 28 overpass.
Why:    Aerial guideway construction

Dulles Toll Road West
When:   Tuesday, July 11, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What:    Left lane closure
Where:  From mile marker 3.8 to 3.4 (from approximately 4/10 mile after the Fairfax County Parkway overpass to just beyond the Van Buren Street overpass)
Why:     Civil work

Autopilot Drive North
When:   Tuesday, July 11, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What:    Right lane closed
Where:  Between Rudder Road and Materials Road
Why:     Aerial guideway construction

Sunrise Valley Drive West
When:   Tuesday, July 11, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What:    Flagging operation
Where:  At intersection of Sunrise Valley Drive and Roark Drive
Why:     Utility work
 
Dulles Greenway East
When:   Tuesday, July 11, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What:    Two right lanes closed OR two left lanes closed
Where:  From mile marker 10.0 to 12.0 (from 2/10 mile past the Loudoun County Parkway overpass to 4/10 mile before the mainline toll plaza)
Why:     Aerial guideway construction
