Purcellville Road (Route 611) between Route 9 and Nixon Road (Route 697) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, on Monday, Aug. 21 and Tuesday, Aug. 22 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day for culvert replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Residents within the closure area and emergency vehicles will have access to the closed portion of Purcellville Road, but will not be able to go beyond the point of culvert replacement in either direction.
Traffic will be detoured via Route 9, Route 287 and Nixon Road back to Purcellville Road.
