High Winds Cause Traffic Lights to Malfunction

Traffic lights are malfunctioning in Eastern Loudoun County along Route 7, including the intersections of Cascades Parkway, Palisades Parkway and Campus Drive. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office reminds motorists that an intersection where the traffic signals are off due to power failure must be treated as a four-way stop.

Downed trees are also causing an issue on Route 50 and Sam Fred Road in Middleburg, Clarkes Gap Road at Charletown Pike near Paeonian Springs, and Evergreen Mills Road and Shockey Farms Lane in Aldie.
