Loudoun County Residents Have Proposal to Counter County's $2 Billion Plan

According to WTOP Radio, Loudoun County residents have decided to come up with their own ideas on how to fix local road congestion.

"Citizens for a Countywide Transportation Plan have come up with their own proposal to counter Loudoun County's $2 billion project for highway construction. The group has hired a consultant to take a second look at the county's plans.

"Steve Hines of Citizens for a Countywide Transportation Plan says the initial plan has been using the wrong traffic patterns, overestimated traffic volume and ignored options to ease congestion"
