In an attempt to better control the issuance of discounted tickets, Virginia Reailway Express (VRE) limited discounted ticket purchases to the vendors located near the major destination stations of Franconia/Springfield, Alexandria, Crystal City, L’Enfant and Union Station, as well as Commuter Direct.
VRE has had a chance to monitor and review this change and have decided to extend the number of stations that can now allow discounted ticket sales by adding Quantico, Woodbridge and Broad Run to this list.
Discounted ticket sales for these three locations will begin today, Tuesday, June 1.
