It's Bike to Work Day -- Let's Be Careful and Courteous to Our Biker Friends

Today is Bike to Work Day and lots of our friends and neighbors will be out on their bikes participating in the annual "Bike to Work" day event -- those who are experienced bicycle riders as well as riders who are trying biking to work for the first time.

Last year in Loudoun County about 445 cyclists stopped by the two Loudoun County pit stops along the Washington and Old Dominion Trail, in Leesburg and Sterling. And organizers are hoping for even more this year!

The Loudoun County Office of Transportation Services is hosting two Bike to Work Day pit stops along the W&OD Trail. In Leesburg, the stop is at Raflo Park on Harrison Street. In the Sterling/Dulles area, the stop is just east of Route 28 near Orbital Sciences Corporation.
