Metro Makes Exception to Allow Bottled Water During Heat Emergency

In light of the extreme weather conditions, Metro is making an exception to its "no drinking" policy to allow customers to carry and consume bottles of water on the system. The exception applies to bottled water only — on buses, in stations and aboard trains — and will remain in effect through system closing on Sunday night.

Customers are encouraged to use trash receptacles to dispose of any water bottles consumed on Metro.
