Haven Terrace and Sandstone Square Intersection and Esterbrook

Loudoun County Traffic received the following from a concerned resident about the intersection of  Haven Terrace and Sandstone Square, as well as parked cars along Esterbrook near an elementary school that makes it difficult to see walking students and other drivers.

We pass along the writer's concerns for your thoughts. If you have any comments or suggestions, chime in below.

Much of the traffic at does not stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Haven Terrace and Sandstone Square. Is that an area that the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office can patrol/ or increase patrols?

Also, the cars that park along Esterbook across from the elementary school make it difficult to take a left hand turn from Haven Terrace on to Esterbrook. The curve in the road and the parked vehicles make it a challenge to see. This is particularly difficult when school starts and ends and all the buses and cars are coming out of the school. In addition many children and parents cross the street at all hours of the day to go to the playground, and cars speed down that road.

Live in or drive through the area? Let us know your comments and concerns below.
