Weekend Events to Cause Traffic Concerns; Possible Delays

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is advising residents of several special events this weekend that could affect traffic. Please be patient, drive safely and follow all law-enforcement direction.

Saturday, October 20
  • Special event at Morven Park, traffic is expected to be heavy in the area of Route 15 and Tutt Lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Special Event at Potomac Falls High School on Algonkian Parkway from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m..
  • 5K Race in area of Tall Cedars Parkway, Millstream Drive and Stone Springs Blvd. from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. 
  • Special event on W&OD Trail to include race for runners and cyclists in area of Gloucester Parkway and Farmwell Station Middle School. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
  • Charity bike ride that will travel from Washington, D.C., and travel mostly on W&OD Trail in Loudoun County. Event ends at Morven Park. Event takes place from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 
Sunday, October 21
  • Special event at Philomont Community Center, including a 10K run in area. 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
