The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance to help locate the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit and run involving a pedestrian on Friday afternoon.

Around 4:15 p.m., a 15-year-old male was struck by a small silver sedan at the intersection of Claiborne Parkway and Portsmouth Boulevard. The victim was attempting to cross Claiborne Parkway from the Portsmouth Boulevard side to the Breezyhill Drive side when he was struck by the sedan.
