The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is advising residents of multiple events over the weekend that may cause traffic delays around the county.

The parade begins around 5 p.m. The parade will travel in the area of Soave Drive, Olympia Drive, Greenside Drive, Parkview Drive, Legacy Park Drive, Regal Wood Drive and Brambleton Plaza.
Deputies will be conducting traffic control for an event at the Oatlands Plantation on Route 15 on Saturday and Sunday. Expect possible delays between 6:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. and again between 2:30-5:30 p.m. each day.
There are also two 5k events this weekend. Deputies will be conducting traffic control for an event on Saturday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. The event starts and ends at Broad Run High School and uses Ashburn Road, Farmwell Road and Hemingway Drive. A second 5k race will be held on Sunday. Deputies will be conducting traffic control between 8-11 a.m. The event will travel on Broadlands Boulevard, Claiborne Parkway, Waxpool Road, Chickacoan Trail Drive, Vestals Gap Drive and Glebe View Drive. One lane of travel will be closed on each of the roads during the listed timeframe.
