Police-Directed Towing Advisory Board Encourages Public Comment

The Loudoun County Police-Directed Towing Advisory Board (PDTAB) is seeking public comment as it continues to work on recommendations to the Board of Supervisors regarding county regulation of law enforcement-directed tows in Loudoun County.

Anyone who would like to comment is encouraged to send an email to policetowing@loudoun.gov. The PDTAB also sets aside time for public comment during its regular monthly meetings. The next scheduled meeting of the advisory board is Tuesday, November 5, at 2:30 p.m. in the Lovettsville Room of the Loudoun County Government Center, 1 Harrison Street, S.E. in Leesburg.

The PDTAB was created by the Board of Supervisors in 2012. The board includes representation from law enforcement, the towing industry, and a member of the public. All serve as at-large members.

More information, including the panel’s meeting agendas and meeting summaries, is online at www.loudoun.gov/towingboard.
