The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is advising residents of two weekend events that may cause traffic delays in the Ashburn and Leesburg area.
On Saturday, an event in Brambleton may cause delays on Northstar Boulevard, Shreveport Drive, Riding Reins Terrace, Christina Ridge Square, Grahams Stable Square, Epperson Square and Boca Field Terrace. The event is being held from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Also on Saturday, expect increased traffic in Leesburg on West Market Street, Fairview Street and Old Waterford Road (in the Town of Leesburg) for an event at Morven Park. The event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Motorists are asked to please be patient, drive safely and follow all law-enforcement direction. Also, be mindful that this is the Labor Day holiday weekend, which means many residents will be traveling so please use extra caution and patience when traveling.
