Sheriff's Office Advises of Possible Traffic Delays This Weekend

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is advising residents of several weekend events that may cause traffic delays in various areas of the county.

On Saturday, Sept. 6, a charity ride will take place between 1-4 p.m. and will impact Snickersville Turnpike. Also on Saturday, an event in South Riding between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. may cause delays in the area of Tall Cedars Parkway and Riding Center Drive.

A 5k race on Sunday at Redskins Park may cause delays on Loudoun County Parkway, Gloucester Parkway, Marblehead Drive, Smith Switch Road and Beaumeade Circle between 6-9 a.m.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office encourages motorists to be patient, drive safely and follow any and all law enforcement directions.
