Herndon-Monroe Park & Ride Bus Bays "F" & "G" to Close Temporarily Beginning July 5

The Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project announces that on or about Tuesday, July 5, their crews will close Bus Bays "F" and "G" at the Herndon-Monroe Park and Ride to allow utility work for the future Herndon Metrorail Station to continue.

The bus routes currently served by F & G will be relocated to other Bus Bays and to a new bus stop designated "T." Signage will be in place to direct commuters to their new Bus Bay locations.

The closure of Bus Bays "F" and "G" will remain in effect for approximately two weeks.

Once the utility work has been completed, Bus Bay "F" will be returned to service and Bus Bays "G" and "H" will be demolished to make way for additional construction work, including the Pedestrian Pavilion and bridge that will connect commuters at the Herndon-Monroe Park and Ride to the future Herndon Metrorail Station currently under construction in the median of the Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH).
