The following construction deliveries are scheduled for today, Monday June 26 through Friday, June 30 in support of the MWAA Rail Yard and Maintenance Facility project.
The construction deliveries will be made to the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project Rail Yard and Maintenance Facility along U.S. Route 606 (Old Ox Road) and Mercure Circle as detailed below, and may impact traffic in the area.
WHAT: Stone delivery (20 trucks) of ballast material at the layup yard.
WHEN: Monday - Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
HOW: Trucks will travel from Chantilly, coming from Route 50, North on Old Ox Rd/Rt. 606 to the project site.
WHAT: Concrete delivery (10 trucks) for installation at the site track slab, including a 36m pump truck.
WHEN: Tuesday between the hours of 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.
HOW: Trucks will travel from the Titan batch plant along Old Ox Rd/Rt. 606 to the project site.
WHAT: Concrete delivery (20 trucks) for installation at the Transportation & Police Building Deck, including a Z Boom pump truck.
WHEN: Wednesday between the hours of 1 a.m. to 8 a.m.
HOW: Trucks will travel from the Titan batch plant along Old Ox Rd/Rt. 606 to the project site.
WHAT: Precast Panel delivery (8 trucks) in 45 minute increments for installation at the Maintenance of Way Building.
WHEN: Monday - Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
HOW: Trucks will travel from Winchester VA, East on Route 7, South on 28, and West along Old Ox Rd/Rt. 606 to the project site, making the U-Turn at Mercure Circle to make the right into the jobsite.
WHAT: Rail delivery (4 80' trucks) to be installed in the Maintenance of Way Track.
WHEN: Monday - Tuesday between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
HOW: Trucks will travel from Allentown, PA, South on 15, East on 267, South on Route 606/ Old Ox Rd, and will have to turn around at Mercure Circle to make the right into the jobsite.
WHAT: Turnout delivery (3 trucks) for installation in the yard lead track.
WHEN: Monday between the hours of 7 a.m. - 12 p.m.
HOW: Trucks will travel from Reading, PA, West on 267, South on Route 606/Old Ox Rd, and will have to turn around at Mercure Circle to make the right into the jobsite.
