Today, Monday, July 10, Dulles South commuter buses began departing from the new Stone Ridge II park and ride lot, a 300-space park and ride lot located at 24281 Millstream Drive in Aldie, less than two blocks west of the existing Stone Ridge lot.
The new park and ride triples the capacity of the existing lot and adds amenities such as bike lockers and bus shelters. The lot also is walkable from the Stone Ridge community.
Bus Route Details
- All morning Dulles South buses, except 208 and 209W, will depart from the new 300-space park and ride lot known as Stone Ridge II starting Monday, July 10, 2017.
- Routes 208 and 209W will continue to depart from the 100-space Stone Ridge park and ride lot (located at 24499 Millstream Drive in Aldie).

Stone Ridge II is the third Transform I-66 Multimodal project for the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission (NVTC) to begin operations. NVTC approved more than $1.9 million for Loudoun County to cover construction of the park and ride lot and two years of operating costs to run express bus service from Stone Ridge to the McPherson Square Metrorail station in Washington, D.C.
