Slow-moving vehicles and equipment may be entering and exiting the highways and surrounding roads
On Friday, Aug. 11, at 10 p.m. through Saturday morning, Aug. 12, at 6 a.m., Sunrise Valley Drive will be detoured at night while a pedestrian bridge for the Innovation Center Metrorail Station is set over the road.
In addition, on or about Aug. 12 from 5 a.m. to midnight, multi-lane closures will occur on the eastbound Dulles Toll Road for striping.
Drivers are urged to use extreme caution in these areas and to obey police and flagger instructions.
Friday, Aug. 11, 10 p.m. to Saturday, Aug. 12, 6 a.m.
- Sunrise Valley Drive will be closed between Dulles Station Boulevard and 600 feet north of Sayward Boulevard. Through traffic will be detoured to Coppermine Road (see Figure 1). All businesses and residences will remain accessible.
Saturday, Aug. 12, 5 a.m. to midnight
- Multi-lane closures will occur on the eastbound DTR between mile marker 2.0 and 4.1 (between Route 28 and Fairfax County Parkway) while the road is striped (See Figure 2, next page)
