Battlefield Parkway Opens Tomorrow with Ribbon-Cutting

The Virginia Department of Transportation is celebrating the completion of the $35 million extension of the Battlefield Parkway from Kincaid Boulevard to Route 7 in the Town of Leesburg tomorrow, Thursday, September 3, at a 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony.

This new, four-lane road is just under a mile long, and provides motorists an alternate option to Route 15 and the Route 15 Bypass for accessing the Dulles Greenway and Leesburg Executive Airport.
