Possible Traffic Delays During Weekend Events

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is advising residents of weekend events that may cause traffic delays in various areas of the county.
 
  • A homecoming parade today, Friday, October 9, for Stone Bridge High School may impact traffic on Portsmouth Boulevard and Claiborne Parkway in the area of the high school between 4 - 6 p.m.
  • A parade in Sterling may impact traffic on Laurel Avenue, Sterling Boulevard and Holly Avenue between 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, October 10. 
  • Also, a festival in Sterling may impact traffic on Commerce Street and Enterprise Street from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. 
  • Also on Saturday, a festival near Waterford may impact traffic on Route 9 (Charles Town Pike) between Route 704 (Harmony Church Road) and Route 287 (Berlin Turnpike) between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.  
  • And on Sunday, Oct. 11, a march may impact traffic on Route 7 in the area of the Lansdowne Town Center to Belmont Ridge Road from 1 -4 p.m.
 
Motorists are asked to please be patient, drive safely, follow all law-enforcement direction and have a safe weekend.
