Loudoun County officials announce that night work and lane closures will occur Thursday, April 14, and Sunday April 17 through Tuesday, April 19, on Ashburn Village Boulevard at the intersection of Russell Branch Parkway.
The scheduled night work will involve varying lane closures between Ashbrook Commons Plaza and Courtland Drive and on Russell Branch Parkway westbound at the Ashburn Village Boulevard intersection. Lane closures will occur between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for the purpose of safely conducting milling, base and intermediate paving and temporary striping work.
Traffic travelling southbound on Ashburn Village Boulevard will follow a detour to travel eastbound onto Russell Branch Parkway. Additionally, traffic travelling westbound on Russell Branch Parkway will follow a detour to travel southbound onto Ashburn Village Boulevard. The detours are anticipated for the second and third nights of work, weather permitting. Daytime work in the area of Russell Branch Parkway will also continue.
Motorists are advised to watch for signage, lane closures and police direction throughout the work period.
