Possible Weekend Traffic Delays

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is advising residents of weekend events that may cause traffic delays in various areas of the county.
 
The events listed below only include activities where traffic control is being conducted by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office and where traffic may be impacted.
 
Saturday, June 4
  • A ½ marathon will be held from 5 a.m. to noon in the Hillsboro area. Roads that may be impacted include Mountain Road, Axline Road, Picnic Woods Road, Morrisonville Road, Legard Farm Road and Purcellville Road.
  • An event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Hamilton area. Roads that may be impacted include Colonial Highway and all feeder roads from the Hamilton Public Safety Center to the Town Park. 
  • An event will be held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Arcola area. The roads that may be impacted are Evergreen Mills Road at Founders Drive.
  • An event will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Sterling area. Roads that may be impacted include Davis Drive and Sally Drive.
 
Sunday, June 5
  • An event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Sterling area. Roads that may be impacted include West Holly Avenue.
 
Motorists are asked to please be patient, drive safely, follow all law-enforcement direction and have a safe weekend.
