Lane Closures and Detours Tonight on the Dulles Greenway and Airport Roads

Nighttime construction activities will take place tonight, Monday, June 19, causing lane closures and detours on the Dulles International Airport Access Highway, Dulles Greenway and airport roads.

See below for more detailed information.  All work is weather permitting.

Drivers are asked to use caution, remain attentive to all signage, barricades and speed limits, and obey all police and flagger instructions.
 
Dulles Toll Road East
When:   Monday, June 19, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What:    Alternating left and right lane closures
Where:  From mile marker 4.2 to 5.2 (from Fairfax County Parkway overpass to 3/10 mile before the Centreville Road overpass to 1/10 mile past the Reston Parkway overpass)
Why:     Roadway striping
 
Dulles Toll Road West
When:   Monday, June 19, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What:    Right lane closure
Where:  From mile marker 3.0 to 1.6 (from approximately 3/10 mile after the Van Buren/Monroe Street overpass to Wiehle Avenue overpass to 4/10 mile before the Route 28 overpass)
Why:     Civil work
 
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) East
When:   Monday, June 19, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What:    Left lane closure
Where:  From mile marker 3.1 to 5.1 (5/10 mile past the Centreville Road overpass to Reston Parkway overpass)
Why:     Civil work
 
When:   Monday, June 19 - Saturday, June 24, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What:    Full closure
Where:  From Saarinen Circle to mile marker 0.4 (near the Rudder Road overpass).  Follow detour.
Why:     Aerial guideway construction
 
Dulles International Airport Access Highway (DIAAH) West
When:   Monday, June 19, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What:    Left lane closures
Where:  From mile marker 5.5 to 3.9 (from 3/10 mile before the Reston Parkway overpass to 3/10 mile past the Fairfax County Parkway overpass)
Why:     Civil work

Autopilot Drive North and South
When:   Monday, June 19 - Friday, June 23, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What:    Right lane closed
Where:  Between Rudder Road and Materials Road\
Why:     Storm pipe installation and aerial guideway construction

Dulles Greenway East
When:   Monday, June 19 - 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
What:    Two right lanes closed
Where:  Between mile markers 10 and 12 (from 2/10 mile past Loudoun County Parkways overpass to 3/10 mile before the Main Toll Plaza)
Why:     Road work
 
Sunrise Valley Drive West
When:   Monday, June 19, 9 p.m. to 5 p.m.
What:    Flagging operation
Where:  At intersection of Sunrise Valley Drive and Roark Drive
Why:     Utility work
